I am pleased to be able to offer all four issues of Eros Magazine which were published before it was finally shut down as a result of a criminal case brought by then Attorney General Robert Kennedy. It was judged to violate the norms of the times and the case adjudicated against the magazine and its editor/publisher, Ralph Ginzburg. It is rather tame stuff, today anyway, but an historic document in and of itself--censorship at work. In addition to the four issues of EROS, I am also including a copy of Fact magazine, Volume Two, Issue Three, from May-June 1967 which includes the article by Ginzburg where he presents the true story of how the magazine was suppressed. This is a rare opportunity to acquire all four copies of EROS which are increasingly scarce on the marketplace. Condition: These books are all in very good condition. The hard covers of all four EROS magazines are ever so slightly dust-dulled and show some minor and random soiling, nothing extreme. The corners and spine tips of each are also bumped, with some finish loss, but again nothing too severe. Inside, the books are unmarked and the pages and photos are clean and bright for all. The bindings are also tight and sound. These books are not ex-library and certainly not remainders. The Fact magazine shows some very light soiling and wear on the covers, particularly along the gutter but inside, it is untouched and clean throughout.

It will interest specialists in political theory and the history of modern political thought as well as legal history the philosophy of law and international law.
